Working Student Procurement

Are you a motivated student with an interest in Procurement? At KWS Berlin, we are looking for a Working Student Procurement (m/f/d) to support our team in processing purchase requisitions, managing internal requests, and collaborating closely with other departments. You will help monitor spending, suggest catalog improvements, and assist with user training. This is a fixed-term (6 months) and 20h/week position, based in Berlin.

Your responsibilities:

• Process purchase requisitions, orders, and contracts for goods and services in accordance with the defined scope and service level agreements (SLAs);
• Handle requests from internal users via the internal ticketing system in accordance with the defined SLAs;
• Conduct and analyze requests for quotations (RFQs) and execute tactical purchasing for goods and services within defined thresholds and spend categories;
• Monitor spending patterns across supported KWS legal entities and provide suggestions for potential catalog implementation for defined spend categories;
• Provide end-user training and education on procurement processes and tools;
• Support end-to-end process execution by collaborating closely with other departments (Accounts Payable, ExHub Procurement, Master Data Management, General Ledger and Controlling, Global IT, etc.).

Your profile:

• Currently enrolled at a German university in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Economics, or Business Administration);
• Strong interest in the procurement field and high motivation;
• Proficiency in German and English ; Spanish, Italian, French, or other EU languages are a plus;
• High affinity for IT tools, including very good Excel skills; knowledge of SAP CPH is a plus;
• Strong communication and organization skills;
• Based in Berlin/Brandenburg.
