Do you want to be introduced to the world of insurance and become part of an international team? We are currently looking for a student worker to join our Nordic Underwriting Accident & Health Team in Stockholm. This is a part time temporary position with approx. 15h/week. Understanding Insurance, Supporting The Team, Gaining Experience

As a student worker in A&H, you will be handling various administrative tasks within underwriting with focus on Accident & Health insurance products. You will be interacting with different stakeholders both internally and externally and you will get valuable experience of working in a global insurance company servicing multinational companies. Your tasks will consist of:


  • Supporting our Underwriters with various tasks.
  • Filling our technical raters to assess risks.
  • Producing booking instructions and draft insurance documents.
  • Interacting with clients and insurance brokers.
  • Collaborate with AIG colleagues around the world.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

We are looking for someone who are currently pursuing a higher education within a relevant academic field (e.g., economics, finance, international business or other relevant studies). Preferably, you are currently finishing your bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years left before graduating. The right candidate identify with the following qualities:


  • Is structured, service minded and eager to take on new challenges.
  • Have great written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English (bonus points for Finnish communication skills).
  • Is a qualified excel user.
  • Keeps a positive mindset – even when things are moving fast and with tight deadlines.
