We are looking for an intern software engineer who will work on creating firmware platforms for low-power secure IoT devices (RFID readers, indoor location devices, wearables) including a variety of RF technologies (BLE, NFC, UWB, Wi-Fi, and more).

As our Software Engineer Intern , you’ll support HID’s success by:

• Learn to develop code and test fixtures in C and higher-level object-oriented languages (e.g. C# or Python)
• Proactively provide status, raise issues, and communicate necessary information to appropriate team members on a regular basis

Your Experience and Background include:

• Experience with the C programming language and object-oriented programming languages (e.g. C# or Python) is a plus
• Applied cryptography knowledge is a plus
• Familiarity with source code management, bug tracking, project planning, and continuous integration tools is a plus
