What To Expect

  • Location: Barcelona, Spain
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Time type: Full-Time (onsite)
  • Start Date: September/October 2026

  • Please Note: Candidates must be enrolled in education for the full duration of this internship.

Join our Infrastructure Development team and take a central role in supporting Tesla's Facility Management and Real Estate operations across Southern Europe. You will contribute to portfolio performance, location strategy, and market expansion analysis — helping ensure Tesla's retail footprint is optimized and future-ready. This is not a passive support role; as a Facility Management / Real Estate Intern, you will support with core deliverables and make a real difference in growing Tesla's European footprint.

Here at Tesla our internship programs are built on a simple belief: the best talent should not have to wait to do meaningful work. We place exceptional students in roles where they contribute to real outcomes - working side-by-side with dedicated managers, mentors, and cross-functional teams to accelerate their growth both technically and personally. From day one, you will not be watching from the sidelines. You will support with owning projects, driving decisions, and making a visible impact.

    What You'll Do

  • Structure Portfolio Audit: Help finalize a comprehensive audit in collaboration with the Facility Management team. Prepare a ranking of locations and build a clear, actionable dashboard for review with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Real Estate Search: Support the search for new retail locations across key markets using Real Estate platforms and websites — identifying, evaluating, and shortlisting high-potential sites.
  • Market Expansion Analysis: Learn to update and maintain the monthly retail performance ranking across the South region, delivering insights that inform strategic expansion decisions.
  • Problem Solve: Support the team in tackling ad-hoc infrastructure and facility challenges head-on, solving local operational problems with resourcefulness and speed.
  • Driving Efficiency: Spot inefficiencies in existing programs and tools — and take ownership of fixing them, making the team faster and smarter.
  • Be the Mission: Represent the Tesla brand in external communications, building relationships with landlords, developers, and brokers across markets.

  • What You'll Bring

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Real Estate, Finance, Business Management, Architecture, Economics, Facility Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum level C1 in English (written and spoken)
  • Comfortable managing competing priorities and drawn to operations and infrastructure.
  • Strong organizational skills, eagerness to learn, and effective communication to collaborate with team members.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative: you are ready to travel for project support, have a high bias for action, welcome feedback, and are genuinely eager to learn, adapt, and collaborate across functions and borders.
  • A real passion for innovation, sustainable mobility, and the energy of building something that matters — in a fast-moving team that sets the pace.
  • Ability to assist with minor challenges or escalate issues to senior staff as needed.
  • Spanish or Italian speaking is desirable but not a requirement.
