About the team

Philips is looking for a motivated Intern to support our Procurement Project Management team. With this role, you will gain concrete insights into the processes of a globally operating company.

We are a team of highly motivated Procurement Engineers in the Hospital Patient Monitoring Business who are working towards one goal of delivering Quality care to the people. You will work closely with Procurement Engineers and cross-functional teams, supporting sourcing projects and procurement-related initiatives across the product lifecycle.

Your Role

  • Supporting Procurement Engineers in sourcing projects by collaborating with suppliers and helping to drive project execution
  • Executing regular procurement activities, monitoring KPIs, and preparing reports and business presentations
  • Maintaining project documentation, datasets, and working files to ensure consistency and usability
  • Assisting in organizing innovation and DfX workshops with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement activities
  • Supporting digital procurement initiatives, including AI agent development, dashboard creation, and process automation

You're The Right Fit If

  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field
  • You are available to work 40 hours/week during vacation period, and 20-35 hours/week during semester
  • You are fluent in English language and have very good communication skills
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • You have excellent organizational skills and enjoy working in a team while building strong relationships with stakeholders
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI and Python is considered an advantage

How We Work Together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
