ABOUT IGNITE NEXT

Ignite Next is Europe's scale-up program for deep tech innovation, founded by the former Intel Ignite leadership team and now independently operated. We accelerate early-stage, high-impact startups developing breakthrough technologies in semiconductors, physical AI, advanced computing, and other frontier domains.

Non-dilutive and founder-first, Ignite Next works with leading technology companies - including Infineon, Intel, Synopsys, Arrow Electronics, and Light Conversion - to connect startups with world-class technical and business expertise, turning breakthrough innovation into breakout success.

THE ROLE

We're continuously hiring interns and working students to join our team. In the application form, you choose the focus area that fits you best - we'll figure out the rest together:

  • Dealflow - Help us identify and evaluate promising deep tech startups across Europe. You'll research startups, manage our deal pipeline in the CRM, support screening and due diligence, and contribute to research briefs and investment memos. Depending on your profile, you may also get involved in consulting selected startups beyond dealflow.
  • Program & Event Management - Help us plan and run our accelerator program and events. You'll coordinate workshops and sessions, handle event logistics, work with mentors, speakers, and partners, and support our cohort companies throughout the program.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program, or recently graduated (Business, Engineering, or related field)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and research skills with attention to detail
  • Genuine interest in startups, venture capital, and deep tech
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
  • Comfortable with productivity tools (Google Workspace, Notion, spreadsheets, or similar)
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Familiar with Claude and generally AI-savvy - you use AI tools naturally to automate and speed up your work
  • Based in Munich: you'll work from our office at Türkenstraße 55 - interns on average 4 out of 5 days per week on-site, working students at least 2 days per week (always on-site)

NICE TO HAVE

  • Previous internship or work experience in venture capital, consulting, startups, or event management
  • Technical background or understanding of deep tech sectors (semiconductors, AI, quantum, etc.)
  • Experience with CRM or project management tools
  • Network within the European startup ecosystem

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Hands-on experience at the heart of Europe's deep tech ecosystem
  • Exposure to cutting-edge startups and their founders
  • Mentorship from experienced professionals
  • Flexible scheduling compatible with your studies
  • Networking opportunities at exclusive industry events
  • Compensation: €2,500/month for internships (min. 4 months) or €20/hour as a working student
  • Potential for full-time opportunities
