Your Team And Your Responsibilities

Team/division description

The Business Transformation team based in Toyota Parts Centre Europe (Diest) supports a major digital transformation programme in the Parts and Accessories Group (PSCG) of Toyota Motor Europe, by ensuring that new systems and processes are effectively adopted across the organisation. The team focuses on preparing the business readiness by change management, training, and communication, acting as the link between technical project teams and business users to enable a consistent and sustainable way of working across countries.

Your project

  • Analyse current approaches for training and internal/external communication across teams
  • Identify differences, gaps, and areas for improvement
  • Create standards that can be used in next phases of the project

Priority 1 – Training

  • Define standard templates, formats, and guidelines for training materials
  • Design a consistent lifecycle for training content including creation, validation, updates, and archiving
  • Establish clear roles and ownership for maintaining training materials
  • Develop a standardised training framework applicable across multiple countries

Priority 2 – Communication

  • Review existing communication channels such as newsletters, updates, and events
  • Define a structured and standardised communication approach including format, target audience, and frequency
  • Create consistent communication templates to improve clarity and alignment

Supporting Activities

  • Support implementation of defined frameworks in ongoing project activities
  • Contribute to improving consistency and standardisation of ways of working across teams
  • Support daily team activities to gain insight into business transformation practices
  • Participate in meetings and working sessions to understand project structure and content
  • Develop practical understanding of how transformation is organised and delivered within a team

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • You are studying Business, Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or something similar
  • You have an interest in digital systems & how to implement them in a business environment
  • You enjoy organising your work and bringing structure to assignments or group projects
  • You are interested in project management, transformation, and how businesses operate
  • You are curious about how supply chains work and how operations are organised
  • You feel comfortable working with information, spotting differences or improvements
  • You can work independently and organise your own tasks to achieve goals
  • You are familiar with Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint, Teams and PowerPoint
  • Reaching out to people and set up collaboration with them is part of your nature
  • You are eager to learn and contribute to a team

Duration

  • 6 months

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
