Our Operational Risk & Resilience Internship has been designed so that you can understand what a career with LSEG would really be like.

As an intern, you will join one of our flagship trading services – LCH SA, a leading global clearing house providing clearing services to international clients.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you should be currently studying for a master’s degree in finance, risk management, audit, compliance, economics, business or a related field.

We will work with you during the recruitment process to understand your strengths and interests to determine the right pathway for you.

What You Will Do

The role responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Risk team in incident analysis and follow‑up.
• Daily operational risk monitoring (reports, dashboards, meeting minutes).
• Contributing to maintenance of the operational risk information system (action creation and monitoring).
• Supporting the Crisis Coordinator (exercise preparation, minutes, action tracking).
• Participating in Business Impact Analyses (BIA), Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and walkthrough exercises.
• Supporting default management simulations and transversal coordination activities.
• Preparing materials for committees and governance forums.
• Ensuring alignment with internal risk policies and Group standards
• Participating in internal procedures updates
• Taking part in evaluating the current control framework and contributing to its improvement

• You should be currently pursuing a master’s degree in finance, economics, risk management, compliance, audit, business, or related field.
• You will need to show excellent French and English written and verbal communication skills.
• You should have a demonstrable interest in financial markets, operational risk, and resilience. A strong interest in risk topics, regulatory frameworks, or compliance is a real advantage.
• We’re after people who are curious about data and like solving problems—if you enjoy digging into information and coming up with new ideas or solutions, you’ll fit right in.
• Being able to see the bigger picture and make connections between different things is a great skill to have.
• Our teams work quickly and things can change fast, so you’ll need to show you can focus, bounce back from setbacks, and roll with whatever comes your way.

Recruitment Process:

• The first stage of the recruitment process involves making an application and submitting your resume.
• The next stage of the application process is an untimed Immersive Online Assessment. The assessment is designed to give you an insight into what it’s like to work at LSEG
• The second stage is a video interview where you will answer a series of questions using a strength-based-interview style
• The final stage is a half day assessment centre which involves several different types of exercises – further information is provided at the point of invite.

Ce que vous ferez

Les responsabilités du poste incluent :

• Soutenir l’équipe Risque dans l’analyse des incidents et le suivi.
• Surveiller quotidiennement les risques opérationnels (rapports, tableaux de bord, comptes-rendus de réunions).
• Contribuer à la maintenance du système d’information du risque opérationnel (création et suivi des actions).
• Soutenir le coordinateur de crise (préparation des exercices, rédaction des comptes-rendus, suivi des actions).
• Participer aux analyses d’impact métier (BIA), aux plans de continuité d’activité (BCP) et aux exercices de simulation.
• Soutenir les simulations de gestion des défauts et les activités de coordination transversale.
• Préparer des documents pour les comités et forums de gouvernance.
• Veiller à l’alignement avec les politiques internes de risque et les standards du groupe.
• Participer à la mise à jour des procédures internes.
• Contribuer à l’évaluation et à l’amélioration du cadre de contrôle actuel.

Profil recherché

• Vous préparez actuellement un master en finance, économie, gestion des risques, conformité, audit, management ou discipline connexe.
