Role Overview:
Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and excited to launch your career in Human Resources? We’re seeking a motivated HR Intern to play a vital role in supporting our HR team! In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience managing employee onboarding, maintaining personnel records, assisting with recruitment efforts, and helping organize engaging employee events. Duties and responsibilities:
- File HR documents, manage correspondence, and provide general administrative support to the HR team
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires
- Update and maintain accurate employee databases, records, and files
- Input data into HR systems, help collect information from employees, and assist in preparing reports and presentations
- Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events
- Attend job fairs, recruitment events, and support Employer Branding initiatives
- Address employee inquiries, and help with internal communications
- Perform other duties as determined by the Senior Members of the HR team / Chief People Officer
Required knowledge, skills and experience:
- You are a final-year Bachelor or Master’s student in the process of getting your degree in HR / Business Administration / Economics or other related field
- You possess strong organisational skills; you have an eye for detail, and you are a solution seeker
- You possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- You are proactive and a team player
- Ability to work professionally and tactfully with employees at all levels
The MeDirect Internship Programme
- Open to students in the final or penultimate year of a Bachelor’s degree course
- Paid 3 or 6 month programmes available
- Students will be assigned to a particular project and are expected to present their learning at the end of the programme
- Ongoing mentoring throughout
- Minimum commitment of 25 hours per week
- Possible promotion to the Graduate programme or offer of a full-time position
