A Finance Trainee is an entry-level professional who supports financial operations while learning core concepts such as budgeting, accounting, and financial analysis, gaining practical experience under supervision.
Responsibilities
As an intern in the Accounting/Finance department, you will provide full support to the department.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Preparing invoices for submission
- Assisting with internal controls using spreadsheets
- Assisting with internal and external audits
- Performing revenue and balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing inventory transfers
- Assisting with placing orders and purchase orders
- Assisting with and preparing informational filings for the Tax Agency
- Reviewing supporting documentation and assisting with administrative processes
- Improving accounts payable processes and invoice posting
- Assisting with filing tasks
- Assisting with receivables management
