Demand and Supply Planner Intern

Main Responsibilities

  • Demand Forecast Support
    • Assist in the preparation and updating of demand forecasts across markets, customers, or product categories.
    • Consolidate data from multiple sources (sales, marketing, historical trends).
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Analyse forecast accuracy, sales performance, and demand variability.
    • Support the preparation of regular reports (monthly S&OP cycles, KPIs, dashboards).
  • S&OP Process Support
    • Contribute to the demand review process within the S&OP cycle.
    • Prepare materials for meetings and ensure data consistency.
  • Cross-functional Coordination
    • Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Customer Service, and Supply Planning teams.
    • Align inputs such as promotions, launches, and market trends into the forecast.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify inefficiencies in reporting or data processes and propose improvements.
    • Support automation initiatives (Excel models, tools, templates).

Main Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (in progress) in:
  • Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or similar

Experience

  • Any internship or academic exposure to supply chain or data analysis is a plus

  • Technical Skills

    • Strong Excel skills (mandatory)
    • Familiarity with data analysis tools (Power BI, SAP, IBP, etc.) is a plus
    • Analytical mindset with ability to handle large datasets
