Dengun Wizpress is dedicated to helping media teams transform press releases and incoming information into ready-to-edit news articles using AI. As we enter our next growth phase, we are looking for a Business Development & Sales Intern to support our expansion in Portugal and Spain.

This is a curricular internship opportunity, ideally suited for students pursuing degrees in Business Management, Marketing, Communication, International Business, or related fields. The role is based in Faro, Portugal, and requires on-site presence.

As a Business Development & Sales Intern at Wizpress, you will work closely with the founders and support media teams in Portugal and Spain in adopting AI-powered tools that transform press releases and incoming information into ready-to-edit news articles. This internship offers hands-on exposure to business development, sales, customer engagement, and the growth of an international AI startup.

Responsabilities:

  • Support business development and sales efforts in Portugal and Spain;
  • Conduct outreach to editors, publishers and media decision-makers;
  • Prepare and deliver product demos of the WizPress platform;
  • Help the team win its first customers in new markets.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Portuguese speaker with strong communication and relationship-building skills;
  • Advanced or fluent English proficiency (written and spoken);
  • Commercial mindset, energy and resilience;
  • Curiosity about AI, media and startups;
  • Currently living in the Algarve region and available to work on-site in Faro.

Nice to have:

  • Spanish language skills;
  • Prior experience or academic background in journalism, media or marketing;
  • Familiarity with AI tools or SaaS products.
