Safety, quality, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to support an exciting project focused on improving the management of hazardous chemical substances across our production environment.

This internship offers the opportunity to work on a real business challenge that contributes directly to one of our company's strategic Hoshin Kanri improvement objectives.

Your Assignment

Throughout this internship, you will help create a structured and compliant chemical substances management system by:

• Identifying and mapping chemical substances used across production and support departments.
• Building and completing COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) documentation.
• Collecting and reviewing Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Assessing chemical risks and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Supporting safer storage, labeling, and handling practices.
• Developing practical recommendations for improving hazardous material management.
• Creating templates, checklists, and documentation to support future compliance.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues from EHS, Production, Production Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Business Excellence, gaining valuable cross-functional experience.

Who Are You?

You are currently pursuing an MBO or HBO education in:

• Chemistry
• Chemical Engineering
• Applied Science
• Safety Studies
• Environmental Science
• Or another related technical field

In addition, you are:

• Curious and eager to learn
• Structured and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a production environment
• Interested in safety and compliance
• Able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders
• Analytical and solution-oriented

Knowledge of COSHH, hazardous substances legislation, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus, but not required.
