About The Role

As a Finance Intern, you will support the finance team in providing financial insights and analysis to drive strategic decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments and the Finance Business Partners to enhance financial performance and ensure alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Marketing, Sales and the Commercial Excellence team) to gather financial data and insights for budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Maintaining files to aide with forecast and cost control of the warehouse & distribution, overheads and Advertising and Promotion costs.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support the Finance Lead and the Senior Finance Business Partner in ad-hoc analysis and reporting to inform business decisions.
  • Participate in financial modelling and scenario analysis to evaluate potential business initiatives.
  • Support the Business Partners by providing analytical support to Core Commercial Cycle.

Essential

Qualifications and skills

  • Finance / business degree (qualified accountant preferred).
  • High English and Spanish level.
  • Strong communicator, influencer and ability to effectively use negotiation.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Self-starter, positive attitude, inquisitive and change oriented. Able to effectively manage time against agreed deadlines.
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
