Working Student - Media Developer & Process Modeller

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Working Student within the NextGen Accounting team, you will create digital learning and communication materials that support stakeholder engagement and project visibility, furthermore you will contribute to process documentation and workflow modelling activities across the accounting function, helping to improve process clarity and operational efficiency.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Create and edit engaging storytelling and instructional videos that communicate accounting responsibilities, departmental activities, and key accounting projects in an easy-to-understand format.
• Develop visual media assets, animations, and other multimedia content, while managing publication on internal platforms and ensuring alignment with company branding and quality standards.
• Support the documentation and modelling of accounting processes by creating current-state process maps and workflow diagrams using standard process modelling methodologies available in Siemens Energy (BIC Process House).
• Collaborate with accounting subject matter experts to gather information, validate process flows, and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Develop and maintain clear process documentation and reference materials to support knowledge sharing, onboarding, and internal training activities.
• Assist in managing a centralized repository of process models and documentation, ensuring content remains accurate, organized, and easily accessible.
  

What You Bring

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Marketing or a related field.
• No formal work experience required; relevant university project work or a portfolio demonstrating skills in process mapping or video creation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Very good knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong interest in both business process analysis and digital media production, with a willingness to learn accounting processes and concepts, familiarity with process modelling tools (e.g. Visio, ARIS or similar) and video editing software (e.g. Vyond which is in use in Siemens Energy or similar) is a plus.
