Supply Chain Intern: Logistics, Data & Field Quality

Location: Antwerp, full-time at the office

Experience: 6-month internship. Open to school internships through an academic program or voluntary internships via VDAB. No specific academic background required.

Own the data behind global logistics and help drive better operational and product-quality decisions.

This isn’t a coffee-fetching internship, and it isn’t a pure data role either. We built Loop by going all in from day one. You’ll own the data layer behind our global logistics operation, from 3PL performance and invoice audits to customer-reported defects and returns. You’ll also roll up your sleeves on the day-to-day work that keeps operations moving. All yours. If you’re comfortable connecting data to real operational decisions and ready to challenge the way things are done, this is where you do it.

The role

You move fast and take responsibility for what you build. You focus on work that matters, not on noise that slows things down. Working alongside the Senior Global Logistics Manager, you’ll sit at the intersection of global logistics and product quality. You’ll turn raw data across shipments, invoices, returns, and defects into clear signals, while staying close to our 3PL partners and helping solve the practical operational issues that keep things moving.

What you’ll do (and what you won’t)

  • You monitor 3PL performance across multiple regions by reviewing orders, systems, and shipment tracking.
  • You verify and analyze carrier and 3PL invoices to identify discrepancies, double billing, and rate mismatches.
  • You track customer-reported defects and returns, identify recurring issues by product, batch, or region, and share insights with Product and QA.
  • You build and maintain dashboards covering logistics KPIs, defect rates, and returns trends.
  • You gather, clean, and structure data from 3PLs, carriers, returns, and customer service systems so the business can use it.
  • You support day-to-day operations by creating labels, checking shipments, and helping solve practical logistics problems.

You won’t

  • Wait for someone to tell you which question to ask.
  • Build dashboards no one opens.
  • Report on data without acting on what it shows.
  • Talk about AI without practicing it in your workflow.

How You’ll Succeed

We look for people who think big, stay curious, and aren’t afraid to go all in to make things happen. You’ll succeed by thinking like the business, not just the dashboard: understanding why a number matters before you chart it, spotting patterns in messy data, asking sharp questions, and moving quickly from insight to action. You’ll be equally comfortable digging into a dataset and sorting out a practical shipment problem, and you’ll care about getting the work right, not just getting it done.

What you’ll bring

  • You bring a business mindset paired with strong analytical skills and close attention to detail.
  • You have solid spreadsheet skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or a BI and dashboarding tool such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or Metabase is a plus.
  • You use AI tools regularly, write effective prompts, and treat AI as part of how you work.
  • You communicate clearly across functions, external partners, and time zones.
  • You work independently and know when to involve others.
  • You take initiative, move with a bias for action, and stay effective when requirements evolve.
  • You want your work to matter, not just exist.

Loop isn’t for everyone. We might not be a match if you:

  • Wait for direction instead of taking initiative.
  • Want to build dashboards but stay away from hands-on operational work.
  • Prefer reporting on data over acting on it.
  • Feel uneasy when requirements evolve mid-week.
  • Treat AI tools as optional.

Good. We are not looking for people to watch from the sidelines. Loopers step in, speak up and go for more. More firsts. More growth. More: “I can’t believe we did that.” If you are like that too, press that beautiful apply button and let’s talk.
