Student Intern – Test Automation & Network Technology (6 months / full-time)

Join a team at the forefront of next-generation telecom technology. You'll work on automated test systems that validate high-speed optical networking hardware — the kind of infrastructure powering 5G networks, data centers, and AI-driven cloud platforms running at speeds up to 800G and beyond.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Run and monitor automated test sequences on industry-grade network equipment.
• Collect and organize test results and performance data.
• Help maintain test scripts and configuration files (Python).
• Document test procedures and update internal tools.
• Flag anomalies and report findings to the engineering team.
• Application testing in the field of fiber optics/service.

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

• Enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent in English and ideally B2 in German.
• Basic Python knowledge.
• Familiarity with at least one of: digital electronics, embedded systems, Ethernet/networking protocols, or optical communications.
• Curious, detail-oriented, and reliable.
• Comfortable working in a lab/technical environment.
