Project Manager Intern

Gulf Associates is looking for a Project Manager Intern to assist our senior team in managing a complex commercial engagement. This role is a central point of support for a project involving a major Munich-based partner, requiring careful coordination and a clear understanding of commercial logic. This internship is designed for someone who wants to understand the mechanics of high stakes decision-support and how state capital and private deals intersect in complex markets. You will support our partners as they navigate negotiations and regulatory environments for our Munich-based partner, ensuring that every project milestone is met with accuracy and professionalism.

What you will do

• Maintain and update project timelines to ensure all workstreams for our Munich-based partner remain on schedule.
• Coordinate communications between internal partners and external counterparties to facilitate smooth information flow.
• Organize and catalog research materials, counterparty data, and commercial documents within our digital workspace.
• Support the preparation of internal status reports and briefing notes for senior leadership.
• Assist in the logistical preparation for remote meetings, including document distribution and agenda setting.
• Track specific project risks and action items, ensuring that nothing is missed during busy periods of negotiation.
• Monitor updates in the relevant market to provide the team with current context on competitor behavior.
• Help prepare presentation materials that translate complex commercial scenarios into actionable project updates.

What you bring

• A recent degree or current enrollment in a program related to business, economics, law, or project management.
• Exceptional writing skills and the ability to summarize complex information into clear, direct English.
• Strong organizational habits: you are the type of person who naturally keeps lists and follows up on outstanding tasks.
• A logical mindset that prefers practical outcomes and evidence over theoretical models.
• The ability to work independently in a fully remote setting while remaining highly responsive to the team.
• High attention to detail, specifically regarding dates, names, and technical project requirements.
