Intern– Procurement ESG Risk coordinator (H/F)

About The Job

Within Procurement we support Opella ambitions, by embedding sustainability and Risk in our sourcing strategies and processes as well as in our supplier relationship management, with the aim to create healthy and safeguard business throughout our supply chain.

Our mission, spanning both Risk and Sustainability topics; including environmental challenges, sustainability risk management, and procurement risks impact; is to accelerate the transformation of our Procurement function.

In this context, Opella Healthcare is seeking additional support to strengthen the implementation and governance of our Procurement transformation roadmap, with a particular focus on sustainability and risk management initiatives.

Based within our Procurement department in Neuilly and working closely with the ESG and Procurement Risk teams, you will play a key role in the deployment, implementation, and governance of ESG and broader Risk management processes.

Main Responsibilities

  • You are involved in the Environmental roadmap with our suppliers by:
    • Coordinating the Climate maturity assessment of our Partners
    • Working closely with buyers and suppliers to help organize, monitor, and implement Emission Factor reduction projects.
  • In collaboration with our ESG Risk process Governance expert & Risk Procurement Leader, you will:
    • You will coordinate with buyers on supplier Code of Conduct & EcoVadis compliance.
    • You will support sustainability risk process digitalization & dashboard creation
    • You will contribute to embed risk in the daily life of the buyers through toolkit creations

Your Profile

  • Education: You are looking for an internship contract, starting as of Sept 2026 as part of a Master’s / Bachelor degree in Procurement/ Management/ Sustainability in University or Business school.
  • Experience: You have a good understanding of Supply chain and Procurement, and you are passionate about sustainability and risk management, willing to create positive impacts for Planet and People.
  • Skills: You can work comfortably in high autonomy with strong self-discipline, focus on end results. You are very comfortable with data management and master Excel and PowerPoint tools.
  • Languages: Part of an international environment, you are fluent in English, and you can write and hold a conversation with non-French speakers.
