adelphi’s programme Carbon Markets & Pricing is one of the leading providers of policy analysis and advice on carbon markets and carbon pricing instruments worldwide, focusing on emissions trading systems (ETS) in particular. Our team of 15+ experts from diverse professional backgrounds and nationalities implements projects for clients including national and subnational governments, the European Commission and the World Bank. As part of our diverse project portfolio, adelphi hosts the secretariat of the International Carbon Action Partnership (ICAP).

Founded in 2007, ICAP brings together policymakers from all levels of government that are operating an ETS or are taking steps to introduce one. ICAP provides a unique platform for governments to share their practical experiences of emissions trading and the latest ETS knowledge. The ICAP membership currently counts 36 members and 9 observers.
