Join DESMI and gain hands-on experience in HR data and analytics

Are you curious about how data, systems, and digital tools can improve HR processes and support better business decisions? At DESMI, we are looking for an ambitious intern to join our Global HR Data, Processes & People Analytics team at our headquarters in Nørresundby.

You will become part of a small, professional, and supportive team working closely with HR specialists, HR Business Partners, and the business across our global organization. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience within HR data, analytics, digitalization, and global process development.

Your Key Responsibilities

As our intern, focusing on Global HR Data, Processes & People Analytics, you will support and independently drive smaller tasks within areas such as:

  • Support implementation of global HR processes and ONE DESMI People & Organization Master Data as part of our global ERP implementation journey
  • Prepare people analytics reports, presentations, and decision-making materials with global people and organization data
  • Assist with planning, execution, and follow-up on Employee Engagement Surveys, including data handling and analysis
  • Contribute to smaller digitalization initiatives such as Exit Surveys, Quality of Hire surveys, and process improvements
  • Support selected operational HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and job definitions
  • Administration and support to selected Compensation & Benefits tasks

What You Bring

You are currently studying within Business, Economics, HR, Data, IT, or a similar relevant field, and you are motivated by working with data in a business environment.

We Imagine That You

  • Have a strong analytical mindset and enjoy working with numbers and data
  • Are comfortable working in Excel and learning new systems quickly
  • Work in a structured and detail-oriented way
  • Take ownership of your tasks and work independently proactively
  • Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken

Solid user proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work independently with datasets, apply formulas and functions, structure data, and prepare simple analyses and reports is a requirement.

Experience with Power BI or HR systems is an advantage, but not a requirement.

What We Offer

  • Hands-on experience in a global company
  • Insight into HR analytics, HR processes, and digital transformation
  • Close collaboration with experienced HR professionals
  • Responsibility for your own tasks and learning opportunities
  • A flexible and supportive workplace where development is valued

Please note that this is an unpaid internship, but it’s packed with opportunities to learn and grow.
