About the internship
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented DTP Intern to support the creation and localization of product artwork and communication materials across the Bugaboo portfolio. The intern will work closely with the product and design team to develop packaging artwork, user guides, illustrations, and other market-facing materials while ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and quality standards.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in packaging design, technical documentation, illustration creation, and desktop publishing within a fast-paced international environment.
What will you do
- Assist in the creation and adaptation of packaging artwork for company products.
- Develop and update product user guides, instruction manuals, and online user guides.
- Create and edit illustrations, icons, and other visual assets for product documentation.
- Localize packaging, user guides, and marketing materials for different markets and languages.
- Ensure all artwork and documentation adhere to brand guidelines and compliance regulations.
- Prepare artwork files for production.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to revise and update existing materials.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation.
What you bring to the table
- Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Desktop Publishing, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Good knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Acrobat
- Adobe Photoshop
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PPT)
- Basic understanding of printing and pre-press requirements.
- Portfolio demonstrating graphic design, illustration, layout, or publishing projects.
- Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good time management and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of assignments.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering practical solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
