Ifac Financial Planning provides advice and guidance to our members in the areas of Life Assurance, Pensions, Investments and Savings. Due to continued growth and expansion, we are currently recruiting an Apprentice Financial Advisors to join our talented team.

The Role

This role is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career in one of Ireland's fastest growing professional service Firms. Our Apprentice Financial Advisors will work closely with our Financial Planning team – to drive the next phase of growth and client impact across the region.

The Trainee Financial Advisors Academy

When you join ifac Financial Planning, you will receive a tailored induction and will be assigned a business supervisor and mentor to provide support throughout the scheme.

Achieving Your Potential

This opportunity is a three-year fixed term contract apprentice scheme that provides exposure to all aspects of our business, allowing you to develop your technical expertise as well as professional skills. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to complete the insurance industry professional qualifications APA and CIP/QFA as well as Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Insurance Practice (Apprenticeship) which is level 8 on the NFQ awarded by ATU Sligo.

You Will Have

  • A degree level Qualification in Business or other related area.

  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • The ability to successfully manage deadlines and meet targets.
  • Commercial awareness and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • A passion for helping businesses achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Financial Advisors to provide a high level of service to new and existing individual clients.
  • Sales support and paraplanning service to the Senior Advisors.
  • Compliance procedures.
  • Developing and managing relationships with insurance providers, clients, and other staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory, professional, and legal requirements.
