Accounting Intern

Reporting to: Accounting Supervisor

Start date: September 2026

Ideal duration: 6 months - 1 year

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Job Summary

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) provides power circuits for systems found in cloud computing, telecom infrastructure, automotive, industrial and consumer applications.

MPS is seeking an energetic, efficient, self-motivated and resourceful team player to be a member of its accounting staff supporting our European subsidiaries.

Essential Functions

Under the guidance of experienced F&A professionals, you will get the chance to:

• Gain insights into the Finance and Accounting processes in a multinational company.
• Support Accounting activities and its integration with the overall business and functional areas at different levels.
• Work with ERP and Business systems (IFS, Auditboard, SAP-Concur, PowerBi, etc)
• Support key Accounting processes across Europe, including:
• Supporting system entries and reconciliations.
• Support Audit processes (GAAP / Sox) and Financial statements preparation.
• Participate in full month and year end cycle and tax matters.
• Tracking Statutory documentation.
• Support ERP and system enhancements to secure Finance Processes and statutory financials accuracy.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Master´s degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field.
• Comfortable working with digital tools and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Interested in ERP systems and PowerBI
• Fluent in English & Spanish (additional languages are a plus!)
• A proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable team player with a passion for Business.
