Internship – Amstel Global Marketing

“I loved working on Amstel with different local teams and agencies on creative campaigns across different countries, while learning how international teams work together. Being part of a large group of interns made the experience even more enjoyable, as we could share and navigate the journey at HEINEKEN together.”

Paula – 2025/26 Amstel Intern

The internship

Step into the engine room of a truly global beer brand. As our Amstel Global Marketing Intern, you’ll get close to the decisions, ideas, and insights that shape how one of the world’s most recognised mainstream beer brands shows up all over the world. This is not a “sit on the sidelines” internship: you’ll help turn consumer thinking into real brand actions, support projects with international reach, and work with people who are passionate about building brands that matter.

What You’ll Do

  • Support global brand and marketing projects
  • Analyse market, consumer, and campaign performance data
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across functions and markets
  • Contribute ideas for activations and communications
  • Assist with presentations, reporting, and project follow-up
  • Lead internal communications for the global brand team

Your new team and workplace

You will be part of the small and passionate Amstel Global Marketing team, working on growing one the world’s most-loved beer brands. From supporting local marketing teams on short-term challenges, to long-term planning for building a brand of the future – we work across the full marketing scope at Amstel. The team is made up of Marketing Managers and Brand Managers with years of experience at Heineken and across other industries. You’ll work with markets all over the world from India to Mexico and even projects in Amsterdam itself.

During your internship, you’ll have every opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as an organization, not just within your own team, but across departments. We trust and empower you to work with an entrepreneurial mindset. At HEINEKEN, we love bringing the outside world in and welcome fresh, new ideas with open arms. Of course, we’ll make sure you get the guidance that suits you.
