Join us in making a difference

Do you want to help shape how trivago stays connected with millions of travelers every day — through personalized emails, push notifications, and lifecycle moments that bring them back to find their ideal hotel at the best rate? We're looking for a curious, driven Product Management Intern to join our Discovery and Lifecycle Experience (DLE) team and help deliver meaningful improvements to how we engage users at every stage of their journey. As a PM Intern, you'll be mentored by a Senior Product Manager and take part in the full lifecycle of your initiatives — from discovery through launch and performance analysis. You'll build test hypotheses, ship real product work (not slide decks), and grow alongside a cross-functional team of Design, Engineering, and CRM experts. trivago is a place where ambition and support go hand in hand — we hold high standards and genuinely invest in your growth, giving you the context and resources you need without getting in your way. Ready to make an impact? Apply now!

How you’ll make an impact:

  • You will develop a strong understanding of how trivago communicates with users at scale — across email, push, and lifecycle moments — and how CRM fits into our broader product and business strategy
  • You will support the end-to-end development of CRM product features: writing specs, aligning with engineers and campaign managers, building test hypotheses, and monitoring results after launch
  • You will build test plans and, for successful experiments, support the path to production implementation
  • You'll collaborate with a cross-functional team of experts in Design, Backend Engineering, and CRM Technology
  • You'll support delivery of CRM and lifecycle improvements aligned with trivago's strategy and the CRM & Owned Media team's priorities
  • You will use the Continuous Discovery Framework to identify, define, and validate opportunities in user engagement, personalization, and retention

What you'll need to thrive:

  • A valid work permit authorising employment in Germany (required for all internship applicants)
  • A passion for user-centric products, paired with an analytical mindset — you're comfortable with data, can spot trends, and ask good questions about what the numbers mean
  • Fluent English — our company language and how we work together every day
  • A genuine learning mindset — you approach challenges with curiosity, seek out feedback from your cross-functional team, and continuously look for ways to develop and grow
  • A performance mindset — you set ambitious goals, bring others along with your ideas, and have the resilience to push initiatives through to execution
  • An open and curious mindset toward AI tools and automation — you actively explore how AI can enhance your work and are excited to grow alongside evolving technologies

What you can look forward to:

As you grow, so do we.
