You will work alongside experienced engineers, develop both technical and professional skills, and gain exposure to a truly international and innovative work environment.

About The Role

As a Software Engineer Intern – C++, you will join international Agile Scrum teams working across Europe, the United States, and globally. These teams develop advanced Electronic Design Automation software used by leading technology companies to create products ranging from consumer electronics to satellite systems.

Our engineering culture emphasizes autonomy, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Teams are encouraged to take ownership, contribute ideas, and grow professionally in a supportive environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Contribute to the development of advanced Electronic Design Automation software using C++
  • Support the implementation of new features and enhancements with a strong focus on software quality
  • Participate in testing activities, including Python-based test development and automation

  • Collaborate closely with your Scrum team to deliver high-value software solutions
  • Learn and grow your technical skills with support from experienced engineers and mentors
  • Contribute as an active team player within a collaborative and international engineering environment

All About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is currently enrolled in a university degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Is available to work full-time for the duration of the internship
  • Has foundational experience in software development (experience with C++ is a strong advantage)
  • Has basic knowledge of Python or an interest in software testing and automation
  • Is comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Is legally authorized to work in Poland without requiring immigration sponsorship
  • Demonstrates strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Enjoys collaborating with others while also taking initiative and working independently

Why join Siemens Software?

At Siemens Software, you will gain practical experience in a global engineering environment while contributing to cutting-edge technologies used by leading companies worldwide. You will be part of a team that values learning, innovation, collaboration, and real ownership from day one.

Throughout the internship, you will have the opportunity to build technical expertise, develop professional skills, and expand your international network while working alongside experienced engineers who are committed to supporting your growth.

Compensation & Employment Information

Our internship program may be structured as either an employment or contingent worker arrangement, depending on local legal requirements. The internship allowance for this opportunity is fixed at 4,806 PLN gross per month for full-time participation. As this is an internship position, the allowance is non-negotiable and may be prorated based on the intern's agreed working hours and availability. For contingent worker arrangements, individuals will be engaged and employed by a third-party provider, not Siemens, and therefore will not be eligible for Siemens employee benefits.
