September–December 2026 (12–16 weeks)
Your Responsibilities
- Connect and curate knowledge sources (central SharePoint, Azure DevOps and similar systems) for chatbot use
- Design and build an LLM-based chatbot that answers questions grounded in the available documents (e.g., standard supplier recommendations for new equipment)
- Collaborate with ICT to integrate the solution into the global AI platform and governance structure
- Enrich the chatbot with operational data (production KPIs, machine signals) via scheduled daily queries from multiple SQL databases (no real-time requirement)
- Implement site-based access control and prototype root-cause analysis / improvement recommendations
Your Qualifications
- Near completion of a bachelor’s degree (or ongoing master’s) in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field
- Solid programming skills and experience with data handling; SQL knowledge is a plus
- First experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and/or RAG concepts (e.g., embeddings, vector search) is an advantage
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver results
- Creative, out-of-the-box thinking with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in cross-functional teams (operations & ICT)
- Very good English skills (spoken and written)

For this position, considering the collective agreement for the metal industry, a gross monthly salary of EUR 1,949.22 is paid on a full-time basis.
